RT9293 是高频、异步的 Boost 转换器，内部集成了支持多达10只 WLED 串联的背光应用和 OLED 供电的 MOSFET ，还有内置的软启动功能以消除冲击电流。IC 工作在 1MHz 的频率下，容许使用小型的元器件，EMI 问题也得到了简化。在应用安全方面，RT9293A 提供了 50V 的过压保护，RT9293B 提供了50V/20V的过压保护，容许根据需要选择合适的小型输出电容和尽可能低的耐压等级。提供给 LED 的电流是由外部电流检测电阻 RSET 所确定的。 RT9293 的可选封装有 TSOT-23-6 和 WDFN-8L 2x2 ，为取得最佳的 PCB 空间和总体拥有成本之间的平衡提供了很好的支持。
